4 Policy and Procedure Statements

4.1 The Central Dining Hall

The Central Dining Hall opened in January 2009. It features numerous units that offer different kinds of meals, snacks, desserts - all prepared under the watchful eye of the dining hall's Chef on staff.

The Central Dining Hall is home to both the Rivers Street Cafe and Sanford Commons.

4.1.1 River's Street Cafe

River's Street Cafe contains numerous unique and delicious dining concepts. Open Monday - Thursday for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Friday for breakfast and lunch. The following are available at River's Street Cafe:

1. Fire Side Pizza - offers hand tossed pizza baked in a brick oven.
2. The Fresh Market - is an island of fresh ingredients where students create their own salads, add fixings to hot baked potatoes or baked sweet potatoes and enjoy fresh homemade soups.
3. Healthy Select - offers a menu of delicious vegetarian and vegan options.
4. Homestyle Classics - is reminiscent of the family kitchen.
5. Noodle Works - allows students to customize their own pasta dishes.
6. On-The-Go - Students will find packaged items for quick snacks between classes.
7. Rivers Street Grill - is the place to go for tasty food right off the grill.
8. Sushi - Burmese chefs prepare fresh sushi on site daily.
9. Treat Yosef - features desserts from the Bake Shop.
10. wrAPPS - offers a variety of tortillas stuffed with tasty combinations.

4.1.2 Sanford Commons

Across the promenade, Sanford Commons features additional dining concepts.

1. A Sub Shop - features freshly baked breads as well as meats, veggies, cheeses and toppings.
2. Chick-fil-A - menu of sandwiches, nuggets, salads and waffle fries.
3. Conrad's Coffee - serves fresh, made-to-order Free Trade coffee and some speciality beverages.
4. Habanero's - serves Tex-Mex dishes made to order.
5. Mountaineer Grill - serves sandwiches - hot juicy burgers and freshly prepared chicken sandwiches as well as hot dogs and corn dogs.
6. On-The-Go - Students will find packaged items for quick snacks between classes.
7. Salads Plus - fresh salad, vegetables, a deli bar with Panini grill, and a fruit bar.
8. The Pizzeria - freshly prepared pizza, by the slice or by the pie.
9. Traditions - offers home-style cooking and special theme lunches and dinners.
10. Treat Yosef - features desserts from the Bake Shop.
